You've made us proud by winning Malaysia's second gold, Dr Wee tells Bonnie

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's second gold medal, won by powerlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin, at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games is a meaningful gift, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

In a Facebook post Friday (Sept 6), the Ayer Hitam MP said the achievement also makes Malaysia proud.

"Thank you, Bonnie Bunyau Gustin! You've made us proud by winning Malaysia's second gold medal at the Paris Paralympics Games 2024," Dr Wee, who is also MCA president, said in his post.

Earlier, Bonnie smashed his own world record in the men's 72kg category en route to giving Malaysia their second Paralympics gold medal at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena in Paris.
