Eight nabbed in anti-vice raid at KL shoplot


KUALA LUMPUR: City police busted a prostitution ring following an anti-vice raid at a shophouse here on Sunday (Nov 24) morning.

A total of eight suspects, aged between 20 and 63, including a manager and six prostitutes were caught.

Investigations showed that customers were charged RM60 per “session” and that their clientele included both locals and foreigners.

Each woman was believed to have serviced around five to 10 customers a day. The premises generally operated between 6pm and 4am.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa confirmed the matter when contacted.
