FashionValet: Vivy, husband to be charged on Dec 5

SHAH ALAM: E-commerce platform founder Datin Vivy Yusof and her husband, Datuk Fadzaruddin Shah Anuar, are set to be charged in the Kuala Lumpur Court this Thursday (Dec 5).

This was confirmed by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki.

"Yes, they will be charged at the Kuala Lumpur Special Corruption Court.

"The couple will appear in court at approximately 9am this Thursday," he told Sinar Harian on Tuesday (Dec 3).

It is understood that the charges relate to investment losses involving Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah) and Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) in FashionValet, amounting to RM43.9mil.

Last Thursday (Nov 28), the MACC announced that the investigation papers concerning the investment losses had been completed and submitted to the MACC's Legal Division for review and consideration.

Prior to this, the MACC detected several suspicious transactions during its investigation into the investment losses in the e-commerce company.

These suspicious transactions were identified from 2018 until last year.
