JOHOR BARU: More than 2,000 Plentong residents who have faced over 30 years of flash floods can breathe a sigh of relief with the widening and deepening of Plentong River.
Johor Jaya assemblyman Tan Cher Puk said the project would make the water flow more freely, especially during heavy rain which caused flash floods in the area.
