Commercial planting of pineapples in Sabah to begin this month


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB) hopes to make Sabah a net exporter of pineapples to Japan, South Korea and the Middle East.

Its chief executive officer Jhuvarri Majid said that with the assistance of Malaysian Pineapple Industry Board (MPIB), Sabah could become a net exporter of pineapples targetted at these markets.
