ONE of the six floating pontoons which sank last Friday at the Tua Pek Kong wharf in Sibu has turned out to be a major inconvenience for labourers at the wharf.
The pontoon sank because water had leaked into its compartments. It went down with a covered steel jetty linking it to the riverbank.
