Call to set up board to check all children's homes

CO-ORDINATORS of welfare homes and social workers have expressed shock over allegations of sexual abuse in a children’s home in Penang.

Penang Shan Children’s Home Association executive administrator Dr S. Poornachandran said most staff of such homes were dedicated people who spent their time caring for the unfortunate children.
