BURGER stalls are a part of life for most locals in Kuching. Virtually everyone has visited a burger stall - usually set up by a roadside or at carparks - and patiently watched their burger being prepared over a flat metal grill.
“I was still in primary school when we would always go and have burgers from the stall under the bridge (Tun Abdul Rahman Yaakub Bridge). There were only a handful of burger stalls during my time,” says Mohamad who is in his late thirties.
