PLANS to upgrade the Sibuti Sanitary Landfill has been approved to cater for the rising amount of waste from Miri City, Subis and Marudi districts.
Environment and Public Health Assistant Minister Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie said the Housing and Local Government Ministry had approved the construction of a fourth cell for the landfill.
