Sesco wins appeal in meter tampering case


KUCHING: The High Court has overruled the decision of the Sessions Court dismissing the arrears in the recovery claim made by Syarikat Sesco Bhd (Sesco) against a company that runs a motor workshop at Demak Laut Industrial Park, which was caught tampering with Sesco’s meter.

A press release from Sesco yesterday said the High Court allowed the appeal against the whole of the said decision and ordered the company to pay RM34,461.20 in arrears together with legal costs of RM10,000 to Sesco.
