KUCHING: Three of the state’s popular artistes have been bestowed with state awards by the Head of State Tun Abang Muhammad Salahuddin.
Izyan Alirahman, better known as Zee Avi, received the Pegawai Bintang Kenyalang (PBK) while Mohd Hafiz Mohd Suip, the winner of Akademi Fantasia 7 in 2009, and Sape maestro, Jerry Kamit, received the Ahli Bintang Sarawak (ABS).
