KUCHING: The US-based Voice of America and the BBC also broadcast via shortwave globally including into foreign countries, not just Radio Free Sarawak, said its founder Clare Rewcastle Brown.
“We are entitled to broadcast our programmes from London and we have not committed any criminal offence. They might as well accuse the Voice of America and the BBC of committing criminal offences because they also broadcast free radio on shortwave,” Brown said in a statement.
