IT was almost an effortless bid by veteran shuttler Woon Tong Yeong to win a gold medal at the World Masters Games in Torino, Italy.
Forming a partnership with Alloysius Ooi Cheng Ean for the first time, in the B Grade doubles category (60-64 years), Tong Yeong ended his wait for gold took top spot – unchallenged as they were the only pair signed up for their age-group.
