Batu Gajah's famous haunted mansion Kellie's Castle is a top tourist destination in the district.

BANKING on the many development projects in Batu Gajah, the local government hopes the district can attain the municipality status by 2016.

Batu Gajah district council president Datuk Jamry Sury believed that the district was on the right track to achieve the target.
