IT HAS been almost six years since the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (Akleh) was first opened to motorcyclists and while most motorcyclists have embraced it, other road users consider them a menace.

Initially, Akleh was gazetted with a restriction on motorcycles under subsection 70(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
