MIRI: Nine men charged with murdering a teenager in Lawas town nearly two years ago, yesterday walked out from the High Court here free after it was ruled that the prosecution had failed to establish conclusive evidence that could link them to the crime.
The murder case that had sparked public protests in Lawas town when it happened in late September, 2012, remains unsolved when the nine accused were absolved of guilt without their defence being called.
