THERE is more to taking good photographs than just buying expensive equipment. Some people feel that just by investing in a DSLR, their photography skills will miraculously improve, thanks to the various advanced features in their nifty new cameras.
This is not always the case, and the first thing to do, usually, is to read the manual. However, this is not enough and you will need to spend some time learning the capabilities of your new gadget. Pick it up, experiment with the various settings and features and, through trial and error, you should see improvement in your photographs.
