Big clean-up for Kepong Baru wet market

THE Kepong Baru wet market in Kuala Lumpur is set to undergo a much-needed clean-up operation this month.

Set to be held on Oct 27, the gotong-royong exercise is an effort by various authorities to clean up the 40-year-old market. The operation is being organised by the Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation (PPSPPA) with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), Alam Flora and Kepong Hawkers and Petty Traders Association.
