DG: Parents must ask for POL classes

THE Education Ministry has never stopped or abolished Pupils Own Language (POL) classes in national primary or secondary schools as long as there is a demand from parents.

The POL classes in Chinese or Tamil in national primary or secondary schools are held as long as there are 15 or more parents who request for it to be taught.
