Community project to boost children’s eye health

PRIMARY school pupils of SJKC Yok Sin and SJKC Sin Min, Melaka, benefited from free eye screening tests and an educational session on eye health, thanks to Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR).

In collaboration with the Malaysian Association of Practising Opticians (MAPO) and England Optical Group, the varsity carried out the Gift of Eyesight project in February, to support school students who are in need of spectacles. The project was to motivate UTAR students to give back to society.
