Sabah teacher aims to ‘reshape the world’


Representing Malaysia: Muhammad Fazri joined hundreds of participants from 76 countries in discussing issues on youth, global health, global citizenship, and technology and inclusion in New York City.

EVER since he became a special education teacher five years ago, Muhammad Fazri Hassan has put his heart and soul into engaging his pupils in classroom activities and varying his lessons at SK Gas, Sandakan, Sabah.

His efforts have not gone unnoticed as over the years, he has won several accolades in recognition of his contributions – among them, the Sabah state Special Education Excellent Teacher Award 2022, the Sandakan district Committed Integrated Special Education Programme (PPKI) Teacher 2022, and the July 2021 Special Education Network & Inclusion Association (Senia) World Changer Award.
