> The International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) provides higher education scholarships and has developed master’s and PhD programmes in cooperation with partner universities in Taiwan.
> ICDF scholarships are for those interested in studying for a master’s or doctorate degree in science and engineering, agriculture, public health and medical care, business management, tourism and catering.
> Malaysians can apply to study at one of 20 universities in Taiwan from September this year.
> A total of 22 master’s and three doctorate scholarships will be awarded.
> Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship, including return airfare, housing, tuition and credit fees, insurance, and textbook cost. Students will also receive a monthly living subsidy of between RM2,195 (NT$15,000) and RM2,487 (NT$17,000).
> Those interested can apply online but all relevant documents must be sent via registered mail to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia before March 15.
