Don't Miss It: Form Six sponsorship

> The Yu Cai Foundation (YCF) sponsorship programme is open to Form Six students who are in their first semester.

> Launched in 2015, the YCF aims to advance, uplift and benefit the underserved communities of Malaysia and to promote the learning of vernacular languages.

> The YCF sponsorship amount per scholar will be worth up to RM3,000.

> The applicant must be a Malaysian citizen who has completed his or her SPM examination with at least a Grade C in Bahasa Melayu, a Pass in History, and a minimum of five As (A+ / A / A-); and has been accepted into Form Six at the time of the application submission (only students in the first semester will be considered).

> The applicant’s combined monthly household income should not exceed RM6,250.

> Applicants should not concurrently hold any other scholarships, sponsorships, bursaries or study loans during the sponsorship period.

> Sponsorship will not be considered for more than one member of the same family in the same year unless circumstances exist to warrant an exception.

> Applications from immediate family members of the foundation’s board of trustees, awards committee members and corporate secretaries or treasurers will not be considered.

> A YCF scholar must maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in each semester throughout the sponsorship programme.

> To apply, log on to https://www.ycf.org.my/.

> Upon completing the online application form by Aug 31, applicants must courier a hard copy of all the documents (certified true copy) to the designated address provided in the application form by Sept 7.
