Largest private school fair returns

Exploring options: The fair serves as a platform for parents and students to gain insights into the offerings of international schools.

PARENTS seeking a private and international school education for their children stand to gain from upcoming special discounts, fee waivers and scholarships.

These offerings will be available for visitors at the 19th Private & International School Fair, to be held from Nov 4 to Nov 5 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 11am to 6pm.

The biannual fair serves as a platform for parents, students and private schools to connect and explore educational opportunities.

This edition is set to be the biggest yet, with participating schools representing diverse educational approaches, curricula, philosophies and cultural traditions.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of educational options, from preschool to pre-university programmes, and gain insights into each institution’s unique offerings.

Run by Mint Communications, the leading facilitator of the largest private school expo, the fair also features performances by students from international schools.

These include cheerleading, lion dance and orchestral music, providing a glimpse into each institution’s unique culture and programmes.

In addition, parents will have the chance to interact directly with educators from each school, allowing them to clarify any doubts and ask questions about the institutions and their offerings.

Mint Communications co-founder and director Nickie Yew said the fair is an essential step towards empowering parents to make informed decisions about their children’s future.

“It is the perfect platform for parents to discover the best educational fit for their children. We have carefully curated a diverse line-up of institutions that cater to various needs and aspirations,” she said.

Participating schools include: HELP International School, MAHSA International School, Maple Leaf Kingsley International School, Taylor’s International School, XCL Education Malaysia – R.E.A.L Schools & Sri KDU, Concord College, Sayfol International School Kuala Lumpur, Beaconhouse Malaysia, Campus Rangers International School, Oasis International School – Kuala Lumpur, Qosmo International School, Seven Skies International School, UCSI International School, St. John’s International School, and Sri Bestari Schools.

International schools that offer boarding facilities, such as Marlborough College Malaysia, Sunway International Schools and Westlake International School, will also be participating at the fair.

Overseas institutions, such as Columbia International School Japan and Institut fur Internationale Kommunikation (IIK), will also be present.

Besides international schools, others showcasing their specialised services include AI Labs, Coding Lab, Eye Level, Hush The Theatre, Ideas Academy, iTrainKids, Novalearn, Stellar Academy, Team Q Swimming Academy and WYNKIDS.

Parents will be able to meet representatives from these organisations and explore the suitability of their programmes for their children.
