A new dawn: Travel bubbles can boost Malaysia’s tourism indusry while creating jobs for the people.

THE growing popularity of travel bubbles – a concept where two or more countries agree to eliminate a quarantine mandate for their citizens – is by no means a solution to revive ailing cross-border travel.

However, it does offer a glimmer of hope for the eventual recovery of the tourism industry, airline sector, and a gradual rebound in international flights, Raymond James analyst Pavel Molchanov said.
