JOE Biden will take office with something no US president has had before: robust popular support for climate action, borne out in polling data and election results from a hard-fought campaign.

"His mandate to go all in on climate change and clean energy could not be more clear, ” said Edward Maibach, director of the George Mason University Center for Climate Change Communication.
