MEDICAL practitioners and epidemiologists say that Malaysia should not rush to transition to a Covid-19 endemic stage, and that the government must have clear cut parameters and indicators before making the move.

“Whether we are in an endemic state is something that needs debate and consideration,” says Prof Datuk Dr Awang Bulgiba Mahmud.
