KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas launched a month-long 2003 Merdeka Campaign at the KLCC Esplanade yesterday with the preview of its National Day television commercial which revolves around two elderly men who poignantly reminisce about their childhood days when lasting bonds were formed regardless of ethnicity.

The men also sadly note that the younger generation are far too engrossed with themselves and are too individualistic to form such friendships.
