Bernama man gets RM50,000 interim payment for ‘wheel accident’

PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has awarded RM50,000 as an interim payment to a journalist who was struck by the falling safety wheel of a monorail train two years ago. 

Court of Appeal judges Justices Mokhtar Sidin, Richard Malanjum and Nik Hashim Nik Ab Rahman allowed David Chelliah's appeal against a High Court decision on Sept 20 dismissing his application for a RM250,000 interim payment.
