SHAH ALAM: Islam Hadhari or Civilisational Islam is gaining acceptance from Malaysians and attention from other countries although some parties had opposed and run down the concept, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.
The prime minister said efforts would continue to be made to explain the concept to avoid any confusion.
