‘Sepet’ shines with six awards

KUALA LUMPUR: Critically acclaimed Sepet was judged Best Film and it bagged five other awards at the 18th Malaysian Film Festival last night. 

The film, about the romance between a Chinese VCD peddler and a Malay girl, defeated big budget blockbuster Puteri Gunung Ledang, giving Saw Teong Hin the Best Film Director award.
