IPOH: There is good news for local historians who have been working to get the Kampar Green Ridge battleground preserved. The Perak government has agreed to gazette the area as a historical site.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Tajol Rosli Ghazali said the state government would get the Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry to approve the gazetting of the site, after which it would be promoted as a tourism attraction.
