GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) had called off its listing to the main board due the RM21mil losses last year by its ferry operations division, even the though the company made net profits.
Penang Port Commission (PPC) chairman Tan Cheng Liang said PPSB revealed to her recently that despite having recorded RM23mil in net profit after taxes, it could not go for public listing because of the losses incurred.
