GEORGE TOWN: Former Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) dean Tunku Datuk Dr Ismail Jewa , the nephew of former prime minister Tunku Abdul Rahman, has died following a long battle with cancer.
He died at 6am yesterday at a private hospital here and was buried at the Langgar Royal Mausoleum in Alor Setar, Kedah, after asar prayers. He would have turned 72 on Aug 31.
