Malacca set to light up stretch to thwart shady activities


MALACCA: Upset by immoral activities involving college students, the state government has decided to light up a 3km stretch of road from Jalan Tun Mutahir to Jalan Hang Jebat here.

State Housing, Local Government and Environment committee chairman Yunus Husin said streetlights would be also installed along backlanes found to be rendezvous points for students.
