MAKKAL Osai has reported that the Malaysian Tamil Pavalar Council has said that the Association of Banks in Malaysia has agreed in principal to use Tamil in automated teller machines (ATMs).
Its president A.R. Subramaniam said that although many requests had been made for Tamil to be included in banking transactions in the past, no positive reply had been received from the relevant banks.
