Bookfest a readers’ haven


KUALA LUMPUR: The largest book exposition in Southeast Asia promises more variety and great discounts with more than 600 booths featuring publishing houses, book and stationery distributors from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Britain, the United States, Singapore and Malaysia.

BookFest@Malaysia 2011 in its sixth edition was launched by Popular Holdings Limited chairman C.N. Chou, National Book Council of Malaysia Dr A' Azmi Shahri and Sin Chew Media Corporation Berhad executive director and Sin Chew Daily chief executive officer Koo Cheng when they unveiled a giant book with the theme “One Book, One World” at Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre yesterday.
