JOHOR BARU: The scope of the marine police is being reviewed following the Government’s decision to appoint the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) as the sole agency to safeguard Malaysian waters.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Khalid Abu Bakar said police would also review the standard operating procedures for the marine police.
