Mourners shed tears as Sarawak murder victims laid to rest

SIBU: Under a downcast sky, mourners wept openly when murder victims Ling Tong Hock, 36, his two children David Ling Chei Qi, 10, and Amy Ling Zi Jiun, seven; and mother Leong Nyuk Lan, 76, were laid to rest six days after the tragic incident.

Earlier, relatives and friends and reporters covering the event yesterday morning were seen wiping tears at the Sibu Hospital mortuary where the coffins containing the four victims were sent for burial at two separate Chinese cemeteries at Bukit Aup after an elaborate Buddhist ritual.
