GEORGE TOWN: It was a long journey back for more than 100 illegal road racers who were ordered to push their bikes from a hypermarket in Gelugor to the city’s traffic police headquarters in Jalan Patani here.
The Mat Rempit and about 70 of their pillion riders were soaked in sweat as they trudged the 7km-journey for over two hours yesterday in one of the biggest police crackdown on illegal racers here.
