GEORGE TOWN: A Voluntary Patrol Unit (PPS) member was fined RM3,000 by a magistrate’s court here after he pleaded guilty to hurting a journalist on duty.
Lim Ah Chye, 52, admitted to hurting Guang Ming Daily’s deputy crime chief Ang Kean Siang, 32, in front of a PPS makeshift operations centre in Perak Lane at about 1.40am on Dec 30.
