KUALA LUMPUR: A group of undergraduates have found a way to merge the afternoon staple of tea and biscuits together.

The second and third year Uni­versiti Sains Malaysia (USM) food technology students, led by lecturer Sapina Abdullah, had taken spent tea waste from the beverage industry and incorporated them into chocolate chip cookies.
