Anwar drops defamation suit against deputy minister


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has withdrawn his defamation suit against Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Hamzah Zainuddin over a “wife harassment” issue.

Lawyers for both parties said in a joint statement that the dispute has been amicably resolved on confidential terms between both parties.
