MQA orders compliance audit


THE Malaysian Qualification Agency has directed all higher education programmes that have received full accreditation up to December 2012 to go through a compliance audit at least once in five years to maintain their status, Berita Harian reported.

MQA chief executive officer Datuk Dr Syed Ahmad Hussein told the paper that the compliance audit that began in July 2011 until December this year was to ensure that higher education providers adhered to the purpose and quality of their programmes.
