JOHOR BARU: A teaching hospital will be built on the grounds of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in a move by the university to venture into healthcare services.
Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Wahid Omar said UTM Holdings Sdn Bhd and Kumpulan Perubatan Johor Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of KPJ Healthcare Bhd (KPJ), had been discussing the project since the university made known its interest to start a medical faculty at its campus in Skudai, near here.
