MIC treasurer-general Ramanan steps down over fraud case


PETALING JAYA: MIC treasurer-general Datuk R. Ramanan resigned from his post Monday, following a High Court decision against him in a civil case.

"With the greatest respect to the High Court, I'm innocent. I have requested for a stay of execution pending my appeal," he said in a press conference here.
