Water cuts in parts of PJ after pipe bursts near The Curve


PETALING JAYA: Residents in parts Petaling Jaya are suffering dry taps after Syabas was forced to shut the valve to a 900mm water pipe that burst in Persiaran Surian, Mutiara Damansara near The Curve, Ikano Power Centre and Ikea shopping centres here on Saturday.

A Syabas spokeswoman said that contractors were working to fix the damaged pipe buried 5m in the road and said water was expected to return in stages at around 6am Sunday.
