It just got more painful for mum-to-be with increase in procedure fee

PETALING JAYA: An expectant mother is jittery about giving birth to her second child, and it is not because of labour pains.

With the new amendment in the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998, the procedure fee for a caesarean delivery has shot up from RM2,365 (for both surgeon and anaesthetist) to RM2,710 – a increase of RM345.
