Student jumps off new Penang bridge


GEORGE TOWN: A 26-year-old student, said to be the nephew of a deputy minister, survived a jump from the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge just four days after its grand opening.

The incident happened at about 2.40pm yesterday while the youth was on the way to the island.
