‘Build a Tamil secondary school’

THE Penang Hindu Association wants the Government to build a Tamil secondary school in the state, Malaysia Nanban reported. The association has sent a memorandum to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to pursue the matter.

PHA deputy president P. Murugiah said those studying Tamil stopped at the primary level and continued their secondary studies at national schools. He called on MPs representing Indian rights to be united on this matter and form a non-partisan parliamentary caucus to lobby for the Tamil secondary school.
